Zuma healthy and in great spirits - MK Party

Claims to contrary being propagated by apartheid-trained journalists and forces opposed to consolidation of black power

PRESIDENT HEALTHY AND IN GREAT SPIRIT

25 April 2024

As our nation stands at a crossroads, we must stay vigilant against the spread of misinformation and deceitful lies designed to undermine the power, unity, and leadership of our people, our party, and our leaders. Recent reports about former President Jacob Zuma's health are nothing more than a calculated attempt to sow discord and slow the progress of the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party as it gains traction in the political arena.

These stories, propagated by apartheid-trained journalists and forces opposed to the consolidation of black power, are intended to create fear and uncertainty within our ranks. Those behind these narratives are afraid of the strength and determination of the MK Party, which stands as a beacon of hope for South Africans who seek a new era of empowerment and representation. The falsehoods about President Zuma's health are desperate attempts to disrupt our progress and weaken our resolve.

Despite these malicious efforts, the truth is clear: President Zuma is healthy, strong, and in great spirits. His leadership and commitment to the MK Party are as steadfast as ever, demonstrated by his ongoing involvement in party activities and his upcoming unveiling of the National Gig Rig in Nkandla. These deceitful rumours serve only as distractions, aiming to divert our focus from the critical work of mobilizing our people for a two-thirds majority in the upcoming elections on May 29.

It's essential that we do not fall prey to these treacherous tactics. Instead, we must unite and strengthen our resolve to overcome the malicious legal challenges and other obstacles placed in our path by those who fear change and progress. We should always stand firm against any malevolent attempts by an evil neo-colonial system, which is backed by apartheid-trained media and figures like Ramaphosa and his ANC, who were paid to uphold this oppressive system.

The power of the MK Party lies in its ability to inspire and rally people from all walks of life, creating a diverse and vibrant movement committed to justice, equality, and opportunity for all. Let us march towards the two-thirds majority with a united front, mobilizing every South African behind a vision where the land and wealth of this country are not concentrated in the hands of the few but shared by the majority who are currently landless, homeless, unemployed, and without hope. The MK Party is the change that people have been waiting for, and the time for that change is now.

Let us stay focused on our appointment with the future of this country and our children on May 29. Let's stand strong, stay united, and look forward to a brighter tomorrow.
