Party says opposition a nest and a special heaven for racists who continuously unleash their racist statements

ANC CALLS ON DA MEMBERS WHO HATE RACISM TO LEAVE THE PARTY

5 January 2016

The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal has made a passionate plea to all Democratic Alliance members who hate and are opposed racism to leave the racist party and join other political organisations which do not glorify racism.

“It is now clear to all patriotic South Africans, both Black and White, that the DA has graduated to a nest and a special heaven for racists who continuously unleash their racist statements which have a possibility of inflame racial tensions and undermine social cohesion in our beloved country. We know that there are many DA members who hate racism and who are not happy with the party’s failure to deal with its racist members and leaders. The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal calls on all DA members who hate and are opposed racism to leave the party in their numbers,” said ANC Provincial Spokesperson, Cde Mdumiseni Ntuli.

The ANC is a non-racial organisation and would warmly welcome DA members to its fold, Ntuli added. “The ANC commends all South Africans who have condemned in the strongest terms the recent wave of racism. We have no doubt in our mind that working together we will be able to deal with racism whenever and wherever it rears its ugly head. Our attempts to end racism will not be successful if we do not work together to confront and destroy this demon of racism and its nests.”
