Russell Loubser should buy a history book - EFF

Economic Freedom Fighters say Mandela, Sisulu and Tambo all proponents of nationalisation/Freedom Charter

RESPONSE TO A REPRESENTATIVE OF WHITE MONOPOLY CAPITAL, RUSSEL LOUBSER

18 October 2012

It has come to our attention that one Russel Rouser, former Chief Executive Officer of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange was engaged in intellectual hooliganism and chose to be a rubble rouser on critical issues which the ANC Youth League, and now the ANC, COSATU and whole of society are discussing.

This representative of white monopoly capital, a racist and intellectual dwarf chose to throw insults on the leadership of the ANC Youth League without substantially responding to the profound and proficient policy positions the ANC Youth League and its entire leadership have successfully propagated and won many sections of society behind.

We do not want to kneel down and bark back at a barking dog, but we need to clarify certain misconceptions and pure lies spread by this Loubser fellow who seems to be advocating for the retention of status quo concerning the economy of South Africa.

Let's begin, 1) The Nelson Mandelas, Walter Sisulus, Oliver Tambos and many others whom Loubser is trying to disassociate from the current leadership of the ANC are the biggest proponents of the Freedom Charter, which calls for Nationalisation of Mines, monopoly industries and banks.

On various occasions, these leaders proclaimed Nationalisation of Mines as policy of the ANC, and have handed the baton to us to continue with the struggle for economic freedom because they achieved political freedom in their lifetime.

So attempts to isolate us from the founding generation of the ANC Youth League is not only sick, but intellectual laziness of a Spokesperson of white monopoly capital who cannot read the correct history of the ANC and cannot read the substantial policy positions of the ANC Youth League because he is busy looting South Africa's wealth at the expense of the poor.

2) The ANC Youth League adopted a programme of action for Economic Freedom in Our Lifetime at its 24th National Congress in Ghallanger Concention Centre in June 2011, and up to so far, there is not even a single section of society that has presented alternate superior logic that substantially disagrees with our proposals.

We identified 7 cardinal pillars for economic freedom in our lifetime, and redistribution of wealth is indeed one of the most important pillars, but not the only one as Loubser would want those he was speaking to to believe.

There are substantial policy proposals and pillars that we have identified as constituting the most durable form of socio-economic transformation in South Africa and their logic is conclusively superior than the hogwash spat by defenders of white monopoly capital, both in the National Liberation Movement and whole of society.

We call on Loubser to take a break from looting and pay attention to the policy proposals of the ANC Youth League and if he is a true partriot, who cares about continued peace and stability of South Africa, he will appreciate and agree that the Programme of Action for Economic Freedom in our Lifetime is the only durable political and socio-economic solution for South Africa.

Any other progressive and sound suggestion and proposal can squarely be fitted into this programme, which advocates for many aspects that are going to be resolutions of the ANC 53rd National Conference in December 2012. We will never be destructed by defenders of white monopoly capital, because in the ANC led National Liberation Movement, white monopoly capital is enemy of the National Democratic Revolution. No surrender! No retreat! ASIJIKI!
