Contract workers over the 3 month limit should contact us - EFF

Fighters say they will be testing President Zuma's assurance to parliament on the matter

The EFF statement on submissions by workers employed on more than three months contracts

20 February 2015

The Economic Freedom Economic calls on all workers who have been employed on short-term contracts for more than three months to submit their information to the EFF. During his reply to the State of the Nation debate, President Zuma said it is illegal for workers to be employed on short-term contracts for more than three months.

The EFF therefore calls on workers in all sectors to submit information so that on 11 March 2015 during the presidential question session, Zuma can account as to why workers are still under short-term contracts for more than three months. The EFF will also be visiting some of these places to make sure that workers are fully employed.
