Deaths and Recoveries

Regrettably we report a further 113 deaths COVID-19 related deaths: Eastern Cape 2, Free State 12, Gauteng 17, Kwa-Zulu Natal 1, Limpopo 0, Mpumalanga 0, North West 69, Northern Cape 2 and Western Cape 10, which brings the total to 49 053 deaths.

We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased patients.

Our recoveries now stand at 1 412 015, representing a recovery rate of 93,8%
