Erratum: Retraction of Statement on PEC Leadership Preference

The office of the Provincial Secretary of the ANC in Limpopo has learnt with shock that there is a statement circulating in the media about leadership preferences at the ANC's 53rd National Elective Conference in Manguang. The statement is therefore retracted.

We want to put it on record that the Provincial Secretary, Cde. Soviet Lekganyane as the Chief Spokesperson of the ANC in the Province does not know anything about a Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) decision to that effect.

We therefore dismiss the statement as utter non-sense and mendacious. The PEC will investigate this matter and take appropriate action.    

It should be noted that all future correspondence with regard to the 53rd ANC Elective Conference in Mangaung will be done by the Provincial Secretary of the ANC, and all enquiries should be directed to his office.
