Nothern Cape: 2014 provincial election results

ANC wins province with 64,4% of the vote, followed by DA with 23,9% (with seat allocations)

The African National Congress has won the Northern Cape provincial elections 2014 with 64,4% of the vote. The Democratic Alliance came in second, securing the status of official opposition in the province, with 23,9% of the vote. The Economic Freedom Fighters came in third with 5% of the vote, followed by COPE with 3,6%.

In the 2009 provincial elections the ANC won the province with 60,75% of the vote, followed by COPE with 16,67%, the DA with 12,57% and the Independent Democrats with 4,94% (see here).
