Truck driver who mowed down 21 passengers in Pongola charged with culpable homicide

Truck driver, Sibusiso Siyaya (28) appeared in the Pongola Magistrates' Court today, in connection with the accident that occurred last week, where his truck collided with a bakkie, killing 19 children and two adults.

Siyaya faces 21 counts of culpable homicide.

He was remanded into custody till 26 September 2022 for a bail application.
